The Company Lab (CO.LAB) and gener8tor this week announced their initial $100k investments across five startups (out of 132 applications / 19 countries) as part of the second Sustainable Mobility Accelerator cohort. This initiative builds on and leverages Chattanooga's growing and unique Sustainable Mobility ecosystem and focus announced last year.
Selected startups participating in this +12 week program include:
- SensFlo (La Jolla): Optimizing metal+plastic manufacturing with SaaS solutions
- WEAV3D Inc. (Norcross, GA): Tackling carbon emissions w/high-performance lightweight materials
- Ruedata (Mexico City): Reducing transport fleet tire costs by up to 30%
- Moduly (Montreal): Reducing energy consumption with plug-and-play home battery solutions
- Motoring Labs (Indianapolis, IN): Leveraging computer vision for real-time insights in logistics.
In an economy increasingly shifting to highly focused technologies - it is CRITICAL Chattanooga/TN leverages its reliable and low cost of energy (to operate processors and manufacturing) and it's strategic location (logistics) to become the countries leading Sustainable Mobility destination of choice for both startups and in recruiting major business capital investments
